4th of July in Mongolia

There is nothing quite so depressing as finding yourself abroad on a big fun American holiday and no one around has even heard of it.  The three worst American holidays to spend overseas are 4^th of July, Halloween, and Thanksgiving.  (Christmas in various materialistic forms has long been exported around the globe by corporations.)

Thus, on the 4^th of July in Ulanbaatar, I was determined to find another American to celebrate with.  And, nearing midnight, I finally at least convinced some Australians to celebrate with me.  (Luckily Aussies never need much convincing when it comes to this sort of thing!)
